How Askly confirms payment
Askly relies on the payment provider and Askly backend to confirm settlement. A redirect back to Askly, checkout callback, QR code, bank notification, or provider success screen does not by itself credit Balance or issue a voucher. Askly waits for the authoritative payment status.
What each status means
- Pending: a final provider result has not yet been confirmed.
- Completed: settlement was confirmed and the corresponding Balance or voucher outcome was processed.
- Failed or cancelled: Askly did not receive successful settlement for that attempt.
- Expired: the allowed payment session ended before confirmed completion. A late provider update is still handled through the original transaction when supported.
When to create a ticket
Create a support ticket if a provider shows a completed charge but Askly stays pending for an unusual length of time, if a completed voucher email does not arrive after checking spam, or if the amount or currency is wrong.
- Include the transaction reference, date and time, amount, currency, payment method, and the status shown in Askly.
- You may attach a screenshot after hiding card numbers, bank balances, identity numbers, voucher codes, and unrelated transactions.
- Never send a password, OTP, full card number, CVV, voucher PIN, or API key.
Still need help?
Open the Askly Support bubble and describe the problem. If the AI assistant cannot resolve it, ask it to create a Jira support ticket.
