Troubleshoot common Askly problems
Use safe checks for loading, chat, sign-in, Balance, and payment-status problems.

Start with these checks
- 1Confirm your internet connection and reload Askly once.
- 2Use a current version of Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox with JavaScript enabled.
- 3Confirm that you signed into the expected account. Askly normally selects the appropriate location automatically; if you see the wrong currency or payment options, include that detail in your support request.
- 4Read the full error message and use the specific Retry or Continue action shown by Askly.
- 5If a payment is pending, do not treat the return page as proof of success; wait for the Askly status to update.
Chat is not sending or answering
- If the app says a request is still in progress, wait and retry that request rather than repeatedly creating new ones.
- If the input is too large, shorten the question or remove an attachment as instructed.
- If a file fails, check that its type and size are supported and remove secrets before trying again.
- A failed guest question should remain available when the app confirms it was not used.
Prepare a useful support ticket
- Describe what you expected and what happened instead.
- Include the page, your current country or location when relevant, approximate time, device, browser, and exact error text.
- For payments, include only the safe transaction details listed in the payments article.
- Attach a redacted screenshot when it helps explain the problem.
Still need help?
Open the Askly Support bubble and describe the problem. If the AI assistant cannot resolve it, ask it to create a Jira support ticket.
