Chat and Balance
Using Askly Chat
Ask questions, choose available AI options, use supported files, and understand conversation behaviour.

Sending a question
- 1Open Chat and enter a clear question or instruction.
- 2Choose an available AI option when the selector is shown. Free questions use Quick.
- 3Attach a supported file only when uploads are available for the current account and question mode.
- 4Send the question and keep the page open while the answer is being prepared.
Questions and files
Askly can support ordinary text questions and, when enabled, bounded text, PDF, DOCX, and XLSX attachments. Availability and limits are shown by the app. Never upload a password, one-time password, card security code, private key, or another secret.
- Say what result you want and include the useful context.
- For long documents, identify the section or task you want help with.
- Check important medical, legal, financial, or safety information with a qualified source before acting on it.
Conversations and retries
Signed-in customers can use conversation history. Askly may reopen the most recently selected conversation after a short absence, while a longer absence opens a blank New Chat without deleting older history.
If a request is still processing, wait and retry the same request when the app tells you to. If the app says a fresh retry is required, use its Retry action so it can safely create a new request.
When a question is charged
Paid Askly Chat deducts Balance only for a completed AI service. The completed charge shown after an answer is the customer-facing charge for that request. A support chat is separate and does not affect Balance.
Still need help?
Open the Askly Support bubble and describe the problem. If the AI assistant cannot resolve it, ask it to create a Jira support ticket.
